קפיטליזם, רה-אקסיומטיזציה בדרך לחברת פנאי

גדלנו לתוך אידיאולוגיה מסוימת, וספגנו את האמת שלה, הקפיטליזם הוביל לשגשוג אדיר ביחס למערכות כלכליות אחרות כך שלא ממש התווכחנו אם אמיתות כגון:  

 - עלינו להילחם כדי להצליח, ואפילו עלינו להילחם כדי לשרוד, החזקים והמתאימים שורדים ושזו אחריותו האישית של כול אחד להיות כשיר ומתאים למלחמת הישרדות.

 - מי שאינו נלחם הוא סוג של פרזיט או לוזר, בשני המקרים מדובר בפונקציות שאין להן זכות קיום למעט מקרים חריגים של חוסר מסוגלות קיצוני, רובנו לא מתנגדים לתוכנית סעד בסיסית כלשהי.

 - מטרות הרגולציה בשוק חופשי הן לאפשר ולמקסם צמיחה.

 - התערבות הממשלה בתנאי השוק היא רעה חולה ויש להמעיט בה ככול האפשר, בפרט שכר מינימום היא התערבות בוטה בתנאי השוק המונעת ממנ להגיע לאיזון.

 - יש מחסור ואנו נלחמים בו וגם אחד בשני, במין משחק כיסאות מוסיקליים נצחי שיוצרת תחרות על משאבים מוגבלים.

בכל אחת מהאמיתות הנאצלות הנ”ל קיים גרעין של אמת, אך כל אחת מאמיתות אלה עשויה לשמש להכשרת הלבבות להסכין עם חוסר ביטחון, חוסר יציבות, חוסר אמון, ניכור ועם הפיכת ההישרדות למפעל חיים או אולי לבזבוז משווע של החיים. הטקסט סוקר את העמדות הרווחות ביחס לקפיטליזם, שוק חופשי, תחרות, התערבות ומחסור ואת חיבורן, הרופף לעיתים, למציאות.

 ניתן לומר כי במידה מסוימת הגולם קם על יוצרו, בתחרות החופשית כולם מתחרים כל הזמן, בהאצה שנוצרת המערכת שואבת עוד ועוד אנרגיה, אנרגיה שחלקה מוטיבציה להצליח וחלקה יצר הישרדות. הכותב המאמר אינו מציע מערכת כלכלית חלופית לשוק חופשי, אלה אקסיומטיזציה חדשה של המערכת הקיימת, בחינה מחדש של השאלה מה בעצם אנו רוצים משוק חופשי, וניסיון ראשוני להצביע על רגולציה מתאימה ליישום שוק חופשי שיספק מטרות אלה… למאמר המלא

The Emperor’s New Suit – The Real Story

Once upon a time there lived an Emperor who was into dressing fancy. He changed clothes all the time and showed them off.

Word of the Emperor’s habit spread over his kingdom. Two tailors who had heard of the Emperor’s vanity decided to try and make a sale. They introduced themselves at the palace.

“We are very good tailors and after many years of practice we have invented a method to make a cloth so fine that it looks invisible, actually it is invisible to anyone who is too dumb appreciate its quality”, The emperor gave the men a bag of gold coins in exchange for their promised suit, they began working on the fabric immediately.

Hebrew and Social Programming

The utopian reformers of the early 20th century used a variety of tools to help making their vision a reality. Orwell’s famous novel “1984″ introduced us to one of those tools and named it Newspeak, in this short article I will refer to this tool as Newspeak as well. The main idea of Newspeak is that as thought is worded in words, narrowing down the language to an essential minimum will help limiting the range of possible thoughts. Newspeak is designed with the intention of limiting thoughts that are not consistent with the applied doctrine (be it communism, socialism, different forms of nationalism, religion and sects, or other).

Orwell writes “…the sole purpose of Newspeak is to limit the range of thought, in the future, thought crimes will not be possible as words to word them will not exist… by that time the entire past literature shell be destroyed, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Byron ? All those will continue to exist only in Newspeak version. Their translation to Newspeak will not only make them different, but contrary to what they essentially were… The entire thought climate will be different, actually thought as we know it, will no longer exist, orthodoxy (conservatism, conformity) means not to think, not to be in need of thought”

We in Israel got Newspeak in the course of yet another utopian reform which began in the first half of the 20th century – The generation of the new Jew, the sabra, and the establishment of the Jewish state.
